Benefit for the SF LGBTQ Speakers Bureau!
Benefit for the San Francisco LGBTQ
Speakers Bureau!
Wanna get your groove on while benefitting the Bay Area’s most awesome LGBTQ advocacy group? Then get your booties down to Hard French at El Rio on Saturday, November 6th!
• Come early for the bbq and vegan bake sale (kicking off at 3pm),
• then indulge in our fabulous Glamour Hole (glamorizing your face, hair or nails);
once you look your freshest,
• impress someone at the Kissing & Spanking booth and then, finally,
• document it all in the Hard French Photo Booth!
The SF LGBTQ Speakers Bureau* gets the cash from all of these fun activities so Pony Up!
We would also love some volunteers to make or bake vegan delites (contact Pike@sfspeakersbureau.org if you need a recipe) and person the kissing/ spanking booth (you know you want to!). Find a way to plug in—we want YOU!
El Rio is located at 3158 Mission St. . . . and just to repeat, this is a DAYTIME party!
Saturday, November 6th, 3–8:30 pm!
If you don’t already know, the San Francisco LGBTQ Speakers Bureau is a volunteer-run program sponsored by the Youth Program at the San Francisco LGBT Center. The Speakers Bureau provides Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer speakers to elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, as well as to adults in community colleges and work settings such as hospitals and police departments. We believe that by personalizing the realities of LGBTQ people, we can help break down the stereotypes which contribute to the ongoing marginalization of and violence against members of our communities.
Come get your groove on and support the San Francisco LGBTQ Speakers Bureau! Help us to help others know that “It Gets Better!” For more information about the Bureau, please go to www.sfspeakersbureau.org.
